Rena B. Kosnett is licensed to practice in both Oregon and California, and has an extensive background in family law and education law. Rena now focuses her practice in the areas of wills and trusts, as well as prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, medical directives, powers of attorney, and name changes, because she takes great joy in helping individuals and families feel prepared and secure.

Rena has an open-door, non-discrimination policy for all people, regardless of their race, class, religion, sexuality, or gender. Rena is passionate about assisting blended and non-traditional families with their family and medical paperwork, whether the need is a medical directive, a pet care directive, a cohabitation agreement, HIPAA authorizations, or a standby guardian designation. Rena will help you achieve whatever familiar or personal objective you or your loved ones need in the states of California and Oregon. 

Rena has previously worked as a volunteer law clerk and attorney at the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law in Los Angeles, and she is currently on the Board of Directors of Our Village Gardens, a nonprofit organization in Oregon that provides community garden access and a neighborhood-based food system in the Cathedral Gardens, Tamaracks, and New Columbia neighborhoods of North Portland. 

Before becoming an attorney, Rena worked extensively in the fields of fine art, photography, and journalism.
